The Hotel was a vision of the past.Still maintaining the charm of its early years & elegance it none the less had been updated in terms of Bathrooms, fittings etc. Staff were attentive, friendly and first class. The dinner we had there was as good as other more expensive establishments. A little Gem.
Breakfast, served in the restaurant besides the hotel, was very very poor.Much noise outside the hotel (drunken people untill 5 in the morning during midweek)
Breakfast in restaurant Metripoliten - very good. Room nice and clear. Super situation from the sights. Real price. Internet is quality and fast.
The service was very good and the position perfect . Just off the main square . We had a lovely room, but our friends rooms were smaller but adequate ! The staff very polite and all very helpful. .
Pleasant staff waiting to be helpful. Very central , near main square. 10min walk to train / bus. Breakfast good. No tea and coffee but bottled water renewed every day. Lots of drawer and wardrobe space. A hotel with character, both staff and building.
Noise at night from street outside could be a problem for light sleepers. Take earplugs.
Very central but quite noisy at night. Moved three times to try and get quiter room. Drawback of being very central I guess. Hotel staff very helpful and polite. Great location for public transport and walking around square.
Breakfast was lovely but it would have been nice to have a bigger selection of meat. Just one choice of ham and cheese. It was ample though.
The Hotel is situated in an excellent position just yards from the main square. The staff were very friendly and helpfull booking trips and airport shuttles for us at reasonable prices.(cheaper than the regular taxis). The restaurant served either buffet or full english breakfasts and excellent lunch/dinner.
Lack of double glazing meant that street noise could be a problem for light sleepers.
very central, just off main square,10 mins walk from railway station, good breakfast
The location was ideal for touring the city. My room was clean but a little worn (single room). Shared shower was very nice and convenient. Hotel staff spoke English and were very helpful. Noisy outside un 2-3am; if your are outside partying, that's great; if inside sleeping, bring earplugs.
The shared bathrooms are very clean, modern and spacious, just as good as having one in the room. The breakfast was also very good (not sure about the boiled sausages though!).
The noise from the nightclub outside prevents sleep unless you have earplugs. I was in room 207. It would be nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room, especially considering the cost of them I would have expected this.
Excellent and friendly staff, good location, comfortable room... Shared toilet / bathroom might be an issue for some, although I personally didn't care/
Location is wonderful. bathroom modernized.
The street is very noisey with people partying all night. windows do nothing to seiled the noise.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful in arranging side trips from the city. Rooms were good size and comfortable, nice and clean.
It was central with easy access to the square, bars and restaurants
with it being central, the noise of people leaving nightclubs etc went on all through the night
i liked a bad because i i fell asleep at once on it...soft. and i liked the day administrator couse he was the only who was kind and hospitable.
i didnt like at all this hotel. nothing good. the staff are indifferent and not friendly...the meal are so so without different varieties. old design of interior...
